Meet Landon Smith: 2022 SR-7B Secretary

Hey, my name is Landon Smith, and I’m excited to be serving as your Section Secretary. First, some background. I am a freshman at NC State, where I’m studying Economics, but grew up in Pilot Mountain, NC. I was inducted into the OA as a member of Wahissa Lodge #118 in 2016. In the Lodge, I’ve served as Chapter Chief, Vice Chief of Activities, and Vigil Chief. I’ve spent three summers working at Camp Raven Knob in various roles, too.

 

These positions have prepared me for my current role, where I am in charge of marketing Conclave and creating promotions that encourage Arrowmen to attend and make the most of this event. This includes making the monthly Apensuwis, updating the website, making social media posts, and working with Lodges to help promote their own events, too. Yes, that means that I’m primarily the person bombarding you with requests to sign up for Conclave. If you already have, great! If you’re still thinking it over, just know you have a wide variety of contacts and resources you can consult for any questions or concerns that you have. I can personally attest that this year’s event will be phenomenal, so you won’t regret coming out.
