Tsoiotsi Tsogalii Lodge creates award honoring new Arrowmen
Tsoiotsi Tsogalii Lodge has introduced a new award that can only be earned by their newest members. The First Year Arrowman Award was created in the hopes of having new members stay active following their induction experience and introduce them to all of the opportunities Lodge membership provides. Each new ordeal member is eligible to earn the award by completing a series of simple requirements during their first year of membership. The award requires members to attend a certain number of Lodge events and chapter meetings where they will continue to learn about the Lodge and Order of the Arrow. It also requires them to become involved in the activities under one of the lodge vice chiefs in support of lodge operation, program, ceremonies, and service initiatives while being exposed to the leadership structure and opportunities of the Lodge. The requirements are designed to serve as a guide for arrowmen in their first year. Awards are presented to recipients during the Lodge’s annual Fall Banquet as an additional way to recognize and thank these members for their support and service. This award is in its first cycle and is already showing signs of increased attendance and involvement from the lodge members. The lodge leadership is excited for the coming year and presentation of The First Year Arrowman Award.
