2020 Vice-Chief of Program

by Dec 18, 2019Uncategorized

Hello SR-7B,

My name is Matthew Klassa, and I have the privilege of serving as your Vice Chief of Program. I am a Vigil Honor member of Occoneechee Lodge and an Eagle Scout from Troop 216 in Cary, NC. One of my favorite Scouting memories is serving on Operation Arrow staff at the 2017 National Jamboree. I love getting to form new friendships and experience new things, and Jambo certainly delivered. Outside of Scouting, I am a sophomore at NC State (Go Pack!) where I’m double-majoring in Paper Science & Engineering and Chemical Engineering. A fun fact about me is I finished my first marathon in November and am already training for my second one in March.

As your Vice Chief of Program, I’m responsible for planning Cardnival and handling a number of behind the scenes details for all of Conclave’s activities. I am beyond excited to have the opportunity to put on the best Cardnival our Section has seen! My committee and I are hard at work planning some exciting new activities including a beach bash and a live DJ! We can’t wait to show you what we’ve been working on!

I love getting to meet new Arrowmen, so please get in touch with me! And if you have an idea on how we can make Cardnival and Conclave better, I’d love to hear it! I can’t wait to see you at Conclave 2020 as we soar higher!

Yours in Cheerful Service,
Matthew Klassa
