Section Chairman

Inductions and Ceremonial Experiences Chairman — Avery Goodmanhe
Avery is from Croatan Lodge 117. He is an Eagle Scout and has been in scouts since he was a Tiger Cub, He received The Vigil Honor this past November. Outside of scouting he plays snare drum in marching band, he also enjoys hunting and fishing.
Inductions and Ceremonial Experiences — Ryan Showman
Ryan lives in Boone and is a Vigil Honor member of Wahissa Lodge. He works as a Learning Architect, and he enjoys hiking and chasing his toddler around. Ryan is excited to develop training and resources for lodges to have successful inductions and ceremonies programs.
American Indian Affairs Chairman — Jayden Weavile
Jayden is from Winston Salem, and is a vigil Honor Member from Wahissa Lodge. He currently attends the University of North Carolina at Charlotte where he studies Architecture. He is also on Camp Ravenknob Staff where he works as a commissioner. He has served as the Wahissa Lodge Vice Chief of Finance and Activities.
Service Chairman — Will Phillips
Will lives in Raleigh, NC where he is active in his Kiowa chapter in service to Occoneechee lodge, a member of Troop 398 and ship 244. Will has served on summer camp staff and as a Chapter Chief. Will has a passion for hiking and has hiked on both the AT and Philmont on his way to earning the outdoor achievement medal.

Recognitions Chairman —Liam Shaw
Liam is a active member of Lodge 70 Tsoiotsi Tsogali where he holds the position of Vice Chief of Administration. He is also an eagle scout from BSA Troop 600 in Greensboro, NC. He thoroughly enjoy the outdoors and has spent the past three summers working on camp staff as an aquatics instructor. He also enjoys meeting new people and building relationships through the OA.
Recognitions Adviser — Tommy Murray
Tommy Murray is an active member of Tsoiotsi Tsogali Lodge 70 based out of Greensboro, North Carolina. Tommy has served as Section E8’s Recognitions and Awards Committee Advisor for the past few years. He enjoys serving in this position and looks forward to seeing the lodges compete for the section awards at Conclave 2023.
Shows Chairman – James Doughton
James is from Winston Salem and is a vigil honor member from Wahissa lodge where he has served on his lodge’s LEC in some way since 2019. He has served on the shows team for the past two years. He is a freshman at App State in Boone, NC studying recreational management. James is working hard to make shows as engaging and exciting as possible this year.
Co-Shows Adviser — Cameron Bowe
Cameron is originally from Chapel Hill but now lives in Raleigh. He graduated from North Carolina State University with a degree in Computer Science. He currently works for ChannelAdvisor as Director of Engineering. Cameron is looking forward to simplifying and streamlining the technology we use to make Conclave a success.
Co-Shows Adviser — Nick Ochsner
Nick currently lives in Charlotte, North Carolina. He’s an investigative reporter for WBTV of Charlotte. Nick is a past Section Chief of our section. He looks forward to helping share the story of lodges and Arrowmen in our Section.
