Conclave 2020 Service Projects

My name is William Erickson and I’m a member of Wahissa Lodge #118, currently serving as your SR-7B Service Chairman. One of the three pillars of our order is service. Therefore, what better way to represent our section than by providing service to the local communities. At Conclave, you will have three opportunities to participate in a service project.
 
 

The first is to participate in the Food Drive. Be sure to come prepared with canned goods and other non-perishable food items to donate! Everything we collect will be sent to the Fort Bragg Armed Service YMCA food pantry. By participating in the Food Drive you will not only help provide food to those in need but also get your lodge a better seat at the shows. The lodge that donates the highest amount of food per person will receive front row seats at the Saturday Night Show!

 The second service opportunity is to donate blood to the American Red Cross. Register ahead of time at https://blood.oae8.org/. If you are under 18 you will need to have your parent/guardian complete a permission slip that can be found here . Donating blood is an important way to save lives!
 
 
 
 

Finally, take part in the SR-7B Conclave Service Project during OAX on Saturday morning. This year we will be assembling backpacks for Communities in Schools. While helping us provide school supplies to those in need you will also receive a ticket to a special activity during cardnival on Saturday night!
